Yay! I’ve finally retired! After 26 years in marketing and public relations for construction companies, I started an antique consignment store in 2002.
Now I help my husband with his construction management company and I have a booth in an antiques mall (I’m addicted to ”Pickin’”!)

We moved full-time to Georgetown, SC where we renovated a home in the Historic Downtown neighborhood a few years ago.

Now I’m Project Manager on the pool going in the backyard. What was I thinking?

School Story:

My favorite memory might be the Senior Play when we "featured" (i.e. humiliated) all the teachers. What a hoot!

And, those of us who were band nerds will never forget the great trips to Florida and the inaugural parade in Washington!

And don't forget Miss Josie White who not only taught Latin to my older sister but also my mother and father! How many times did she call me by my Mother's name, Edwina? I was always embarrassed.

Congratulations on your impending retirement. It is an interesting transition time. Realizing you can do pretty much whatever you want with your time and energy. I’ve taken up oil painting, tennis, working out at the Y, volunteering in our new home town of Georgetown, SC. I’ve even been appointed to the City’s Board of Zoning Appeals. Who knew you could do so much in retirement! Enjoy! See you in September.

Do you recognize any of these Greyhounds? This is a group of '69 gals who get together EVERY year to reminisce. We call ourselves the MY MY's and we are all looking forward to the reunion!
